Jan is an experienced litigator who has handled complex commercial, regulatory, cross-border, and arbitral matters in state and federal courts, along with all major arbitration and mediation programs.  He is currently involved in litigating a class-action antitrust matter along with several complex commercial disputes.  

Jan earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in New York, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and a James Kent and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Prior to entering private practice, Jan served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Sandra L. Lynch on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Honorable Judge Paul S. Diamond on United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
